Make a tier list of your TV shows without dragging anything
Classic tier list sites give you a pile of posters and rows S, A, B, C, D, and it's on you to drag everything to the right place. For ten shows that's fine. For a hundred and fifty it's a whole evening, and by the fortieth you don't know anymore if The Expanse really goes above Mr. Robot.

In ATJV you don't drag anything. You answer one question, again and again : between these two shows, which one do you prefer ?
How it works
- You say what you've seen. Show cards come up and you swipe : seen it, not seen, watching, or started and never finished. Only seen shows (and the ones you're watching) go into duels.
- You do duels. Two shows face to face, you pick one. Each pick moves one up and the other down, with an Elo-type score, the one used for chess rankings.
- A show is ranked after two duels. Before that it waits in a "?" row, because one duel doesn't say much.
- Rows open as you go. B, C and D open at 5 ranked shows, A at 15, S at 30. That way you don't get an S row filled at random after three duels.
The screens above go left to right : the swipe, a duel, and the tier list it ends up with. Nobody placed anything by hand on that last one.
Why it's fairer than doing it by hand
When you sort by hand, you compare each show to a vague idea of the row. In a duel you compare two specific shows, and that's a question anybody can answer in a second. The final ranking is just the sum of all those small picks.
And your tier list moves with you. You finish a show that blew you away, you mark it seen, it goes into duels and finds its spot on its own.
What you do with it
- Share it : one button turns your tier list into an image, ready to send.
- Compare it : your friends see your podium and your tier list in your showcase, and you see theirs.
- Feed it : if you're coming from TV Time you can import your history and send your shows straight into duels (step by step here).
And behind all that, it serves one thing : in the evening the app suggests one single show, picked from what your duels taught it.
